About Paige

Paige Shannon’s songs offer a millennial’s brutally honest perspective on life, love, and loss. Her work is about growing up and finding her place in a world that is often chaotic and difficult to understand. As you might expect, Paige’s music is vulnerable and emotionally raw, with a power and maturity usually associated with artists with twice her experience.

Paige was born and raised in Los Angeles. She began writing and performing her own material at 11 years old. Her affinity for acoustic instruments empowered her to learn the guitar, dulcimer, ukulele, and 5-string bluegrass banjo on her own. Some of her greatest musical influences include: Joni Mitchell—the iconic artist from the 1970’s Laurel Canyon era—Jewel, Alanis Morissette, and Taylor Swift. Paige is inspired by the fierce originality of these women, and by their uncommon ability to evoke intense identification through highly personal lyrics.

Paige would love to hear from you. You can send her a note at paige@paigeshannon.com, like her page and send her a message on Facebook, follow her on Twitter, or subscribe to her YouTube channel.
